Panda: Almost Finished!

I'm adding the final touches to my panda! A few more stitches here and there, maybe some accessories, maybe a tee-shirt... Here's a picture of my panda at the moment. Can't wait till it's finished! 

Any Ideas?

I've just put the finishing touches on my panda and panda pattern. After I post it, I have no idea what to make next! Does anyone have any ideas?

Panda Sewing Pattern: Coming Soon!

I just finished my panda softie sewing pattern. It needs a few adjustments. There's a picture to the right of this post of my original panda softie, and in a few days, I'll have a picture of the "updated" panda softie, and maybe a pattern will be included! Free Ladybug Pattern

Here's instructions and a link for my first sewing pattern: a ladybug! It's really simple, and a great project for any kid who wants to learn how to sew. You can use either a sewing machine or your hands and a needle. Both work. In the picture, the yellow one is hand stitched and the turquoise one was made with a sewing machine. The picture proves that you can use both! 
I'd also like to say that you don't have to use a normal ladybugs' color patterns. Who has ever seen a turquoise ladybug with lime green spots?

Ladybug Pattern Instructions

Materials: 

- Two colors of fabric

- Thread

- Needle

- Scissors 

- Pins

- Polyester Fiberfill ("Stuffing")

Step 1: Cut out all of the pattern pieces 

Step 2: Sew the head to the body

Step 3: Sew a line down the middle of the body

Step 4: Sew the dots to the body

Step 5: Sew the two bodies together with right sides together

Step 6: Turn inside out and stuff

Step 7: Sew the opening closed

You're finished!

Sewing Savvy

I have just created this website to show my sewing projects. I love to sew, and my bedroom is full of little critters I have made. Most of my critters are made from professional patterns that I find on the internet. Then I decided to make my own patterns, where I didn't have to give credit to someone else. (Not that I mind!) I started simple with my ladybug pattern, and am hoping to post my pattern for a panda very soon. (It just needs a few finishing touches!) Enjoy my blog!
